On April 12, 1944, a 16-year-old Donald Hazell was sick of milking cows for a living. He bought his first truck – a 5T Chevy – for 637 pounds. From this small rural beginning in 1944, a family business began.
Today Hazell Bros is a provider of a broad range of high-quality construction and resource capabilities.
Operating in Tasmania, Queensland and Victoria, Hazell Bros has been constructing infrastructure projects and providing genuine customer solutions professionally and safely for more than 60 years.
Our five business streams of civil and building construction, equipment services (craneage, transport and earthmoving), asset and facility management, quarries and concrete focus on understanding our clients’ needs and delivering innovation and end-to-end capabilities.
Working with clients in the public and private sectors, our 600-strong team of employees are committed to a values-based culture which ensures safety first in everything we do and a determination to continually add value and exceed our clients’ expectations.
