Working Together

Company

Hazell Bros Group has adopted initiatives and principals associated with being an employer of choice as a part of our strategic plan to retain and recruit talented and skilled employees.

The "Working Together for One Company" (WTFOC) process is a philosophy and strategy to support, motivate and communicate with Hazell Bros people, in order to strengthen internal relationships.

WTFOC Mission

To be a recognised employer of choice by our employees, customers and the public

In 2006 nearly 20% of employees had served 10 or more years with the Company.  This is something that the Group is very proud of considering our employee numbers have increased over the last 12 months, and our percentage of long standing employees has sustained.

HB Handshake

The HB Handshake was developed as part of our WTFOC mission, to publicly and formally recognise good employee performance.  Employees can be nominated by peers or managers from either their own business area or another.

Hazell Bros Management and Executive communicate HB Handshakes directly to the recipient with a letter and accompanying gift, and the workforce is informed through the Company Newsletter.
