Hazell Bros sponsors Tasmanian Sports Awards

Tickets are selling fast for the 2007 Tasmanian Sports Awards, run by Sport and Recreation Tasmania and the Tasmanian Institute of Sport.
Hazell Bros is a proud sponsor of the Awards, which celebrate sporting innovation and excellence, by acknowledging Tasmania's finest athletes and those people that are the backbone of sport and recreation in Tasmania - the volunteers, coaches, officials, administrators, and service providers.
This year sees the amalgamation of Sport and Recreation Tasmania's Sports Star Awards and the Tasmanian Institute of Sport Athlete Awards into one great event.
Guest appearances will include Tim Lane and Adam Spencer.
The Award categories include:
- TIS Junior Athlete of the Year
- TIS Female Athlete of the Year
- TIS Male Athlete of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Merit Award (Officials and Administrators)
- Contribution to Sport Award
- Minister's Award for Excellence
- Athlete of the Year
The Awards will be held in the Tasman Room at Wrest Point on Friday 14 March 2008. Tickets can be booked by calling Business Point on 1800 440 026.
