Ian joins the fold

As the New Year continues another new face has joined Hazell Bros. Ian Birchall has recently started as Human Resources Advisor. Based at our Lampton Ave office, Ian will provide HR advice, support and services to all Hazell Bros employees.

Ian took time out of his schedule to sit down and answer a few of our getting-to-know-you questions, so read on to find out more about Ian.

Where did you work previously? SeaRoad (a shipping, transport and logistics company).

If you could eat only one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Mum’s roast pork.

What three new things would you most like to learn in your lifetime? Play guitar; understand chess and why plants do not grow when I plant them!

If you had a million dollars, what would you do first? Travel (first class).

What is the one thing in your life that you could not live without? My family.

What have you done lately that you’re proud of? Paid off my mortgage.

Tell us something about you no-one would ever guess. I have never owned a pet.

What do you like to do on weekends? Relax with family and friends, watch Hawthorn win!
