Hazell Bros recognises the health and safety of its people, contractors, visitors and stakeholders is a fundamental value. We are committed to providing healthy and safe workplaces in all aspects of our business.
We will achieve this by:
- taking all reasonable and practicable measures to ensure the workplace is free of potentially hazardous conditions by the implementation of integrated risk management systems
- complying with relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, standards and codes of practice
- developing and maintaining a workplace culture and fostering behaviour amongst our people that we are all responsible for our own health and safety, and that of our fellow workers, and understand and endorse our vision of safety first always works
- ensuring all incidents are thoroughly investigated to eliminate or reduce future occurrences
- encouraging active participation, consultation and cooperation of all employees, contractors and stakeholders in promoting and developing measures to improve health and safety at work
- maintaining relevant policies, systems, procedures, training and information to support and communicate effective health and safety practices throughout the group
- establishing clear and measurable targets and objectives and regularly review our progress
- provision of appropriate health and safety induction and training to all our people.
