Avebury Nickel Project - Allegiance Mine
The Avebury Nickel project is located approximately eight kilometres west of the town of Zeehan on the west coast of Tasmania.
This project involves the mining and processing of nickel ores to produce a nickel concentrate which will be transported by road and rail to port for shipping to selected smelters.
The mine will produce 900,000 tonnes of ore per annum.
Hazell Bros Group is contracted to undertake the following for this project:
- Earthworks
- Excavation
- Formwork
- Concrete
- Reinforcing
Scope of Works
- Supply of 7000m³ of concrete from a site batching plant
- Construction of concrete footings for:
- Ball Mill
- Regrind Mill
- Flotation facility
- Crusher
- Sewerage treatment plant
- Potable water tanks
- Construction and backfill of 750m² ROM retaining wall and associated concrete slabs
- Installation of site services
