Product Testing

Concrete and Quarry products are regularly tested by the Hazell Bros owned Qual Tech Testing Services.  Qual Tech is NATA accredited to ISO/IEC 17025.  Qual Tech can also undertake new product development and will work with customers to achieve their goals.

Concrete

All Hazell Bros concrete is produced according to AS 1379 (Specification and Supply of Concrete). To meet this standard, we undertake product testing and project testing as required.  High strength concrete (50mpa and above) can be produced by using low water/cement ratios and utilising the latest concrete admixes.

Concrete batch plants, weighing and measuring equipment is regularly calibrated to ensure accuracy of batching.  Hazell Bros can produce concrete to suit a wide range of applications required by customers.

Quarry

Aggregate and Road Base materials are produced according to AS 2758.1 (Aggregate and Rock for Engineering Purposes - Concrete Aggregates), R40 specification, as well as specific council specifications. The HBMI quarry is known for producing high grade materials for concrete production, road building, car parks and many other applications. The source rock is hard and durable and that along with good production techniques ensures a quality product.
